Meetings with representatives of Industries on FOPL

 Meeting held with the following person 21st February, 2022

1.    Meeting held with Dr. Girish Gupta, National President, All India Food Welfare association and CEO, Foodees Group consultant and Ms. Meenu Arora, Administration Director.

a)    They requested to send the content and also our demand (how we are looking at the front of the packet to be designed. They will circulate this information to the 400 food industries associated with them. Haldiram snacks, Dharampal satyapal and Richfield industries are their customers. Balaji food and  SHRISTI FOOD EQUIPMENTS EXIM PRIVATE LIMITED.

b)   They will also share the list of the food industries with us also.

c)    They invited us to give training on this issue in Assocom Institute of Bakery Technology & Management (AIBTM).

2.    Meeting held with Shri Sumit Singh, Advisor, Strategy and Cooperation, National Cooperative Union of India. We submitted a memorandum demanding FOPL in packet food prepared by the cooperative. He said he will look after this issue and assured us of a meeting in his next visit to Varanasi.



Shirin Shabana Khan and Abhimanyu Pratap met with Shri Mohit Chaudhary, Executive ( Food Industry Affairs and Regulatory Affairs ) All India Food Processors Association on 22 February 2022. We discussed about strong and mandatory FOPL. He invited us for sending article for his newsletter and also putting stall in 36 AAHAR, the International food and hospitality fair from 26- 30 April, 2022 in New Delhi. https://indiatradefair.com/aahardelhi/information/details/about

Patna Declaration: Uniting Political Parties for Children's Health

  On February 7, 2024, in Patna , a significant public dialogue took place at the Kasturba Gandhi Assembly Hall within the premises of the Gandhi Museum. The event, which saw participation from 85 individuals, was organized by a coalition consisting of the Peoples’ Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR), People’s Initiative for Participatory Action for Food Labelling (PIPAL), All India Hawkers Forum, Bandi Adhikar Andolan, and Indian Roti Bank.
