Advocacy effort for mandatory and alert level FOPL for better health of children

 Lucknow and Delhi visit from 26th March, 2022 to 1st April, 2022 

Lucknow visit  on 26th March, 2022

1.    PVCHR team met Shri Ashutosh Sinha, MLC & Member, Standing Committee on Prevention of Food Adulteration & Circulation of spurious drugs and gave him the memorandum to be forwarded to Smt Anta Singh, Commissioner, FSDA. Even requested him to write a letter to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to implement the regulations in Uttar Pradesh. 

On 26th March, 2022 PVCHR delegation met with Shri Arjun Agrawal, Director Veeta Day. His other sister concern are Garul Foods, Lucknow, G,M Nutritive India, Kamla Foods, PD Agro processors, Shree Kashi Viswanath Industries Varanasi. 
In the meeting he was representing his father Shri Bheem Agrawal, All India Bread Manufacturer's Association (North Zone), who got busy with the representative from the Government. 
He requested for sending the letter, which he will circulate to the all Industries registered in this association. 

Delhi visit  on 29th March, 2022

PVCHR team met Shri Pakauri Lal Kol, MP, who supported the demand for strong, mandatory and alert level FOPL. He has also written to Union Health Minister.


PVCHR team met Shri Raj Kumar Chahar, MP & National President, BJP’s Kisan Morcha  and he endorsed the demand of strong, mandatory and alert level FOPL

30th  March, 2022 

 PVCHR team met Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Union Minister of State for Micro, small and medium enterprises. He supported strong, mandatory and alert level FOPL. 


PVCHR team met Dr. Mahendrabhai Kalubhai Munjpara, Union Minister of State for Women, Child Development & AYUSH and he endorsed PVCHR’s demand for FOPL with warning label.

 PVCHR team met Shri Kaushal Kishore, Union Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs. He supported the demand for strong, mandatory and alert level FOPL.

30th March, 2022 

 PVCHR team met Ms. Neela D’Souza of All India Mahila Congress and she assured of writing to Union Health Minister for strong FOPL.  


 PVCHR team met Shri Lalji Desai, Chief Organiser, Congress Seva Dal and he has written to Union Health Minister for strong and mandatory FOPL. 


 1st April, 2022 

Today we met with Mrs. Annie Raja, General Secretary of National Federation of Indian Women (NFIW). She is also a member of the National Executive of Communist Party of India

 

Today we met with Prof. Satya Pal Singh Baghel , Minister of State in the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. He supported for strong and mandatory FOPL. He said  he will write to Health Minister.
