Media report: Study reveals poor and vulnerable that were battling hunger now have more access to unhealthy ultra-processed food

Highlights:

-        We mobilized 16 print and 28 digital media outlets, including international, national, and regional media, such as NBT, Kanwhizz times, pioneer, jagran, Deshbandhu, Outlook India, sanmarg, The mooknayak, counterview, YKA, Veer arjun, among others.

 

-        The campaign received significant coverage from UK-based media outlets Minority Post, ABP Live, and Outlook India, who published special stories based on the press release. Additionally, the campaign successfully mobilized 5 key Twitter influencers, MPs, and policymakers, including Netta D'souza, Ashok Thakur, Sushil Kumar Singh, and Dr. Sanghmitra Maurya, which helped reach more than 1 lakh people.

 

-        Overall, the team was successful in mobilizing a diverse range of media outlets and influential individuals to spread awareness about the issue at hand. The wide coverage and engagement from key figures and influencers suggest that the campaign reached a large audience and had a significant impact."
