 Ms. Netta D’Souza, President, All India Mahila Congress said, “Through frequent meeting and discussion on packed food now before purchasing the packed food I carefully read the ingredients in it.  I request all the honorable Member of Parliament to bring this issue in the parliament”.

Peoples’ Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) and PIPAL successfully organized a MPs Round-table:  Children Nutrition and Ultra-Processed food on 20th March, 2023 in Deputy Speaker Hall of Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. In the round table senior Members of Parliament, Politician, and civil society representatives, called for urgent policy measures to make healthier foods available in the market and introduce clear warnings on packaged food to guide people’s choices.
